11 days!!!!

Eee!! It's almost time!!

I am SOOO excited!!!! This is the BIGGEST show i've ever been a part of. :)

I fly out to LA in 10 days and am MORE then excited! For the show! To see one of my best friend's Brian! To meet booth partner in crime, Andrea! To just GET AWAY! Yay! I'm excited for it all!

Come visit if your attending!!

i <3 giving gifts

My friend Lauren has the most beautiful curly hair I've seen, and when i asked her what she uses to bring out her curls she bought me some. So to say thank you i make her a necklace i thought would strike her fancy!

Ha, it's seriously awesome being an artist! You ALWAYS have potential gifts at your finger tips! How cool is that?

Well, my fancy striking worked out, because later that day i got this message.

"I love love love the necklace! I've actually been looking for a new cross necklace, you read my mind :)"

Mission Accomplished. :)

Have you made any fun gifts for people lately?

Go check out their etsy shop!

YAY! I was featured!!

SUCH a marvelous day! :)

I had such a super day yesterday. I severely dislike dentists, but my dental hygienist was amazing!! We talked about art, and god and relationships! It was a-mazing!!! Totally worthy of going to the dentist.

To celebrate how "brave" i was, i decided to reward myself with a delicious meal. Everyone at the dental office suggested a sushi place across the street. I'm a very frugal gal, but decided to REALLY treat myself and get a meal instead of just some rolls.

I heart California Rolls.

The extra money was totally worthy of my spendage!! Not only did i get all of these Japanese goodies, but it came with Miso soup and salad with ginger dressing too. YUM! I made a lot of FB and Twitter friends jealous by posting about it. ;)

Amazingly Awesome!

"it smells so good I don't wanna eat it. I just wanna keep on smellin'" -little boy at sushi (about Miso soup)

Rasberry Chocolate Dream

To continue my unfrugal trend, to be spontaneous and to break my junk food fast, i went to one of my favorite new coffee shops after work. I had a DELICIOUS dessert and a perfect cup of "Sense of Peace" tea. Mmmmm

"Sense of Peace" Tea

I was spontaneous AND are junk food! And oh my!!! Is was good!

Rasberry Chocolate Dream

I blissfully enjoyed my treats and made jewelry at both the sushi places and the coffee shop.

Here are a sneak peek at some of the fun goodies i was making! :)

PS: OMGOSH!! It just occurred to me! I could have California Rolls IN California!!! SWEET!

Panera Endevors.. :)

Saturday Morning

Saturday Morning

I don't know about you, but i love Saturday mornings...mostly because i LOVE the Farmers Market!

Look around you, there are dozens of fresh fruit and veggie booths here, their colorful allure so striking! But look! back in that corner is ....a pizza vendor?? Although you are generally a fruit and veggie gal, (or try to be) don't get bummed out.Calories don't count on a Saturday morning slice of pizza.

Delilah is your inner diva. She's your classy Manhattan sweet heart. She loves a French Roast expresso, indulges in only the best strawberries, and wear high heels, the higher the better. [Preferably Manolo]

While not all of us could embrace her life style, your alter ego "Delilah" is here to help. These earrings will keep you grounded while dreaming of your life in another world.

I really like these earring sets and I hope you do too!! :)

Let me know what you think!

Study Break!

It's so easy to get distracted while working, so i've been trying to meet friends to "study" with. I live in college town so it's easy to find people on a general basis. So for the past couple weeks my friends have been meeting me at Panera to "study". They study, and i study beads. :) (Or my blog)

Creative Endevors..

“With each project I begin I’m reminded of the importance of listening, of appreciating and taking advantage of all the creative, dynamic and wonderfully bizarre people in my life. And like any good listener, I know it’s my duty to share this wealth of influence with others. “ - Ashley Olsen via Jeremy.

The worlds getting in the way of my blogging and creativity again..but I'm so inspired right now by others it's ridiculous! Here's my crafty and exciting goals for right now...

* Make shrinky dinks with friends tonight!

* Work on my etsy and new jewels tomorrow morning with a friend at Panera.

* Have a crafty evening inspired by Rachel's creative journal class on Saturday with a my friend Nikki.

* Meet up with a bunch of crafty local artists on Monday night!

PS: Does anyone know how to make the font on blogspot pretty colors? I saw it done before on another blog but don't know how.

news FLASH!!!

Originally uploaded by Handmade Nation!
So..for the past 24 hours i have been crossing my fingers, my toes, my ears.....?

Alas, i can share my news!! IM GOING TO BE IN THE RENEGADE CRAFT FAIR!!!!! This is such an honor and I'm so so so excited!!

The Renegade Craft Fair is one of, if not THE top notch of crafty fairs out there. RCF has been in the works for six year now, but this is the first year it's going to be in Los Angeles.

I'm so stoked! Come visit if you plan on going ! yay!!

Thank you so so so much to this lovely, talented lady for sharing her booth space with me! I am more then excited to meet you, and see all your beauties in person! :)

Fair's of World Trades. Days.

I've been a horrid little blogger, but this was MORE then worthy of blogging about.

I was a part of the "World Fair Trade" day last month. There are dozens of yummy vegan food vendors, artsits, and musicians. Customers on the other hand, were quite few and far between, but a bunch of my favorite people came to visit me. AND all of the sales i had were to people who either already knew of my work, or already had some of my pieces. IT. WAS. AWESOME. !

This was the first show that i not only did the whole display BUT did it confidently and had fun while creating it! Yay!

This lady has done just about EVERY single show with me since i started doing them three years ago, she also just moved away. The next show, without her, will be a very sad day. :(

After the art show, my friend Camilo and I went to the House of Blues to see Saves the Day. They were stellar!

'I Do Solemnly Swear' Summer Art Journal Class

Elsie's blog had a Blog Party all day long with fun challenges and surveys and give away's. It was so fun and what was even fun-er was winning this AMAZING class from Rachel!! It was SUCH a wonderful treat!

I have some very exciting news..but i'm SO worry to jinx it, that i can't spill the beans until it's 100% confirmed.

But it's REALLY exciting!!
