The Week of an Artist! (part II)

A few weeks ago i posted my first 'segment' of "the week of an artist" and i'm here to bring you some more little tidbits of my Insta-gramed life. ;)

The last few weeks, as you read in the previous post have been filled with LOTS of drawing, custom orders, and working as hard as i can to make my Etsy shops as BEST as they can be!
(which is a EVERYday job!)

It's also my grandma's birthday today! The boy and i wished her a happy birthday by sending her this photo [along with a bunch of other ones] to her Walgreens for her to pick up.
[good freaking golly does she love 4x6 photos!!]

I wonder if i'll still be obsessed with photos when I'm in my 80's...

I hope you're all having a GREAT GREAT day!
smiles to you dear friends,
Jenipher

Random Acts of Kindness!!

This year for my birthday, i wanted to do something really special. I would like to have a Random Acts of Kindness week!!

Will you do something nice for someone else today, and/or this week? If you could post about your experience, [[and include images!!] that would be super amazing!

I would LOVE to blog about how much kindness can be done if we all band together!!

Thanks, Love, and SMILES!
Jenipher :)

Eeek! I'm 26 now!

I am so so blessed!! I had SUCH a wonderful birthday. FINALLY!!! HUZZAH!!!! I can't say i hate birthdays anymore after this one. I spent hours with some of my closest friends in Orlando.

We had a vegetarian pot luck picnic [[sooo delicious!]] at "Big Tree Park" where one of the top 10, largest trees in America live!! We took 419 pictures!!

Next stop was the batting cages! Growing up i wanted to be a pro-baseball player and thank goodness i didn't, because i suuuuckkkk but not as horribly as my friend Torin. [[green shirt]] [ha! good thing he doesn't read my blog] ;)

It was great fun, really. I've been wanting to go for three years, and it was so stellar that i finally did!!

Next off to a Japanese Hibachi grill place called Kobe, where it's free for your birthday. So so good! I treated myself to a Pina Colada [which i didn't really like, lol] and tried both of my friends drinks [both icky!].

Then we went back to my place and read cheesy pick up lines and talked for a few hours. All and all, i had a gloriously fun birthday!! Thank you all so so so much! I am so lucky to have you all in my life! <3<3<3

Happy Birthday Riley!!

rileybirthday

Last Sunday was Riley's birthday. It was a wonderful full day of activity, laughter and no stress on my part! (which is quite a feat in itself!) We woke up and went to church, then headed to see Wall-E. The movie was really cute, i recommend it to anyone who likes a sweet animation. It's actually quite cool that the movie had barely any actual talking it in, but still managed to show so much emotion. {and the fact, that it's about emotional robots}.

After the movie, we killed time at our favorite store. Barnes and Noble. Sigh...we can spend hours at bookstores. i love them! Kobe Steakhouse is a Asian place that does hibachi at the table and they offer $15.00 off on your birthday so we headed there next. They put on a little show while they cook your food and give you a whooole plate full. {I had enough to eat to be full and two days of left overs!} It's a fun place. Tis highly recommend.

We came home and went running, and then, sadly, the day was over. It was a great day though. Hope your weekend was brilliant as well!!
