[HEAR This!] Saves The Day...SAVED my day.

So...i had the STELLAR opportunity to hear an incredibly inspiring concert; Saves the Day. Afterwards my friend, and his friends [who call themselves "The Buddy System"] invited me to hang out and meet all the Saves The Day folk.

I was so in awe of how down to earth and inspiring the guys were, that I started doodling their lyrics. This inspired me to then doodle other lyrics. THUS 'Hear This' Wednesday was born.

If you haven't heard of Saves The Day, or just don't know many of their songs, I'm telling you RIGHT NOW, these guys are the REAL deal. After you see Chris's emotion when he sings, Arun plays a kick @$$ guitar, Claudio has the best smile and energy, and Rodrigo is just hilarious.

Blogs are Scary if you have Feelings.

It's 1am.
I should be in bed....but i had the urge to blog. [[kind of]]

I've been MIA from the blog-o-sphere for a while now. Mostly because I'm dealing with a lot of things right now. For a while now actually...

...and honestly.. i didn't feel i had anything of value to say, share, bring to the blogging table.

Among many things I'm "working on" right now, I've been dealing with self worth issues for a while now. I've most recently realized that i just have to DO things, and not fear them. I should just blog, because i feel like blogging. Not ignore it in fear of saying or not saying anything gratifying to those who read it. Isn't what essentially when a blog is supposed to be??

I suppose [and I'm supposing not just for myself]] that it's somewhat intimidating to try and create a blog that shows your true colors. YET, one that INSPIRES others.

But how can i even inspire anyone if i, myself, don't feel inspiring/inspired?
I feel like I'm talking in circles. But you know what? At least circles are never ending. And perhaps if i talk enough then I'll eventually make a full one.

I hope you're life is a full circle!! One filled with happiness, joy and everlasting creativity!!

One Year Ago Today...

One Year Ago today...

* My heart was hurting in places i didn't know existed.
* I was in South Florida taking a two week "life" vacation.
* I was confused to the max about what my future was going to look like.
* I was angry and hopeful about the plans God had for my life.

But more importantly one year ago today,



* My mom bought me a pedicure. Which made my toe-seys look beautiful!!



* I ate a delicious salmon salad at a German restaurant.

And...

* I got to spend a glorious day in Miami with my best friend and THESE delicious cupcakes.



It's amazing how many good things come on bad days. And how WONDERFUL a year can make you feel. I am so blessed. :D

I hope even through the bad, you can see the silver lining in your life!!
