Foodie Friday: Union Square Market

My friend Julissa and i met up at the Union Square market today to play catch up.

One of my FAVORITE parts of living here is HOW many amazing markets there are in the city. --this market, i think being my FAVORITE.
Juli and i both were kinda hungry, and even though im REALLLYYY frugal i budged and bought this vegan empanada

It was even BETTER than i expected! It was filled with kale and mushrooms and had a whole grain breading...?

For those of you who know me, i don't have a sense of smell, so i'm often wary of foods that look like they might not be flavorful enough for me to taste, but this was very filling. Completely satisfying. And i helped a local vegan gentleman.

All in all, it was lovely afternoon; just cool enough, great company, lots of laughter and delicious treats to snack on. :)

Now....back to the work cave for me!! :D
Have a happy Friday ya'll!

Picnics, Farmers Markets and a Happy Saturday.

I went on a picnic a couple weekends ago. First we went to the Farmers Market (yay!) and bought some delicious foods.

I tried my first Arnold Palmer which was STELLAR! We played our guitars, ate delicious food and enjoyed the beautiful weather. Twas lovely.

The squirels are really cocky. They litterally come RIGHT up to you to steal you're food.

Go Squirel Go!

This one was a run away. :) We did give him a cherry eventually.

Picnic Goodness

MMM....So yummy!

I love acousitc guitars...PLUS they travel well, so you can bring them to parks.

And sometimes we've had such lovely weather...when it's not raining. Welcome to Florida! It's either gorgeous or horrid outside.

All in all it was a nice afternoon. I seriously LOVE Farmers Markets so it's always a treat to visit them!

Creative Endevors..

“With each project I begin I’m reminded of the importance of listening, of appreciating and taking advantage of all the creative, dynamic and wonderfully bizarre people in my life. And like any good listener, I know it’s my duty to share this wealth of influence with others. “ - Ashley Olsen via Jeremy.

When life hands you radishes....

Radish Love.

My life has been so wonderful! These last few weeks have been my happiest, most creative, most opptimistic weeks in my entire life of 25 years. Life is good! (those t-shirts are right!!)

Some inspiration quotes for all of you fine folks...and a REAL [creative] blog soon! I promise. :)

"You have to be willing to give up the life you've planned for in order to live the life that's waiting for you.
- Joesph Cambell

"The irony of commitment is that it's deeply liberating - in work, in play, in love. The at frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself and parade around rationally. To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life."
- My Starbucks cup.

"Where did my sandwich go? Did i eat it?"
- My Grandma

Happy Wednesday!

I'm thankful!

On the Spark blog, Margot challenged us to take pictures of things we're thankful for. This was actually a very fulfilling task, and i enjoyed it very much. I guess i am feeling much better, because as always, mine were all food items. Ha.

I'm thankful for..

Top Left:
I made eggs for myself for one of the first times. "He" made eggs so well. It's TIME i make myself some stellar eggs.

Top Right: I treated myself with one of my all time favorite sandwiches. And you know what? I'm going to do it more often.

Bottom Left: Jeremiah's is THE spot you have to visit when you come to Orlando. Coming into town? I'll take you there!

Bottom Right
: I haven't been to the farmers market in SEVEN weeks! It was such a lovely experience this morning. :)

I have been doing better, thank goodness, and i really feel like the worse is FINALLY going to be over. So, on the to next! I am really looking forward to what life has for me. But, I'm ready to par take! and create!
