Happy LIttle Ramblings....

Me, the girl who doesn't like movies has finally found one! I DESPERATELY want to see this movie! Yay for August 7th!!

Thank You.

Aside from this movie, Mother's Day seriously make me contemplate about how many wonderful women i have in my life.

Life doesn't bring that many opportunity to just shout a random thanks ro everyone, so i wanted to share my love in a snailed mailed, stickered letter.

Organizational Unbalanced Creativity.

Pinky and the Green

Today's creative endeavor (or four days ago..) I found an inspirational book called "A Charming Exchange" which is an INCREDIBLE book folks! It's by Kelly Snelling and Ruth Rae and it's kind of like a challenge in jewelry form. Groups of women all start, send, finish and create gorgeous jewelry. It's so inspiring, and i wish one day i could do something like it. Alas...

Pinky and the Green

CHALLENGE ONE: To get out of my box i would love to make A-symmetrical earrings. generally my brain doesn't work like that.

CHALLENGE TWO: To only use what's inside of THIS container. *

Messy Bowl O' Potenetial

Pink and Green and Red..oh my!

RESULT: I not only made a pair of earrings, which i think kind came out very fun, BUT i made a matching necklace. Yay!!

*I start a million projects at once and get over whelmed, then never clean up, so said box is a mix match of leftovers and never was...

Soul Flower

Soul Flower challenges as you can read from the "Pinky and the Green" earrings" was taken a bit further when i found all these pieces in the bucket as well.

So awesome! I LOVE this necklace. :)

When life hands you radishes....

Radish Love.

My life has been so wonderful! These last few weeks have been my happiest, most creative, most opptimistic weeks in my entire life of 25 years. Life is good! (those t-shirts are right!!)

Some inspiration quotes for all of you fine folks...and a REAL [creative] blog soon! I promise. :)

"You have to be willing to give up the life you've planned for in order to live the life that's waiting for you.
- Joesph Cambell

"The irony of commitment is that it's deeply liberating - in work, in play, in love. The at frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself and parade around rationally. To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life."
- My Starbucks cup.

"Where did my sandwich go? Did i eat it?"
- My Grandma

Happy Wednesday!

Did i say jewelry..i mean NECKLACE!!

I, Jenipher Lyn, have created my FIRST piece of jewelry (a necklace) for the FIRST time in just about THREE years, Just. For. Me. You heard it here first, Jenipher the work-aholic, took time out to create FOR FUN! (Those who know me, i know your gasping..this is a HUGE success!)

Pretty Color Scheme.

I was inspired by the ultimately inspiring Margot Potter, who wrote a truly fascinating book "Beyond the Beads". This is a color combination from her book, and i came home and made something with the colors in the image. Alas..i show you a piece i called creatively called "Margot". :)

I'm so excited by it! AND the images came out wonderful!

PS: If you are an artist and don't already know about Margot Potter, PLEASE do yourself a favor and click on any of the links above. She will inspire you dearly! :)

Hark! A new stage!

These past few weeks have been such a blessing, and such a gratifying growing experience. I'm in THE best place I've ever been in, in my short 25 years. I have finally come to a place where i am confident and comfortable; with my true age, with my progress of my business, with myself. I finally learned that i don't need a man or a successful (ie: money making) business to make me happy. I deserve to be happy without those things. I finally learned that i do enjoy making jewelry, and although i hope to grow with my skills, I'm satisfied with my Cherry Runway jewels for now. Jewelry making is finally enjoyable again, and it's nice not to feel stressed about my show on Saturday.

Oh, yeah, you Orlando Folk, come to my (our) show on Saturday at Dandelion Cafe on Colonial. It's called World Fair Trade Day!

I Heart Rollarblading ha, now where have you seen THIS picture before?

I've been roller-blading every day for the last few weeks (with a couple exceptions when i staying over at peoples houses) which is a feat I'm quite proud of! Especially those mornings i realllly didn't want to go skating at 7:30 in the morning. I have still been consistent and have enjoyed it so. (ok, with the exception of yesterday.. lol)

Okay..I'm through with my mushy feelings.
