One Year Ago Today...

...I was celebrating my and Amanda's birthday [among other "life celebrations"] at Melting Pot!! Twas great fun!



We ate like Queens! I got a veggie and tofu platter and Mandy got some meats and veggies.



AND THEN.....



...had THESE amazing treats that we dipped in this incredible Peanut Butter chocolate mixture with nuts in it. We kept asking for refills of the delicious treats to dip in the chocolate. YUM!! :D

Bad bad blogger and the snail ring!!

And here i thought i was going to be THE BEST BLOGGER since i returned from California. I mean, i had SO MUCH to share right? But then life gets in the way, and you cut your toe open and the meds made you sick and your soooo tired from the crutches and...what? Not your life? Oh! Just mine!! Phooey!

Anyways, there is much i shall share, but tonight i'll just take it easy and show you my FAVORITE thing i purchased while at Renegade.

If you really know me, you'll understand why i am SO VERY excited about this purchase.



I've been looking for a special "Jen Ring" for a few months now, and i was holding out until i found one that completely struck my fancy. It's been a long journey finding this ring but thanks for the lovely Christine from Chocolate and Steel, i finally found it!!

I <3 snails oh so much! So much to the point that when there are snails in the present, i kind of lose track of time and need to be reminded that we errands to run and a life to live.



This ring has made me a very happy camper. It symbolizes a lot for me, and has especially made me smile every two days when i have to take another trip to the clinic. :)

I had such a super day yesterday. I severely dislike dentists, but my dental hygienist was amazing!! We talked about art, and god and relationships! It was a-mazing!!! Totally worthy of going to the dentist.

To celebrate how "brave" i was, i decided to reward myself with a delicious meal. Everyone at the dental office suggested a sushi place across the street. I'm a very frugal gal, but decided to REALLY treat myself and get a meal instead of just some rolls.



The extra money was totally worthy of my spendage!! Not only did i get all of these Japanese goodies, but it came with Miso soup and salad with ginger dressing too. YUM! I made a lot of FB and Twitter friends jealous by posting about it. ;)

To continue my unfrugal trend, to be spontaneous and to break my junk food fast, i went to one of my favorite new coffee shops after work. I had a DELICIOUS dessert and a perfect cup of "Sense of Peace" tea. Mmmmm



I was spontaneous AND are junk food! And oh my!!! Is was good!



I blissfully enjoyed my treats and made jewelry at both the sushi places and the coffee shop.
