2011: "My Year In Images"

This year has been an AMAZING year! Good gracious so many incredible things have happened!

In January i won a [grant] from United Arts.

In February i got in my [first] car accident. #w00t

In March i had a ME day!!

In April helped the talented Robin, hang an art show. 

In May, I hung my VERY [FIRST art show]at B3 Cafe!

In June i went to [the BIG apple] and saw ^them^! 

In July, i spent the weekend with these GREAT peoples!

In August i hung my [2nd!!] art show at Raphsodic Bakery!! 

In September we all sang in Rainy Day Revival!  
the choir band at my church!

In October...two words: DIM SUM!!!

My Art was HUNG at the Orlando Museum of Art!

In December i started to date my best friend.
I'm the luckiest girl in the world. :) :)

I'm happy that it's almost 2012 and am excited for all the adventures to come... but am so #thankful 2011 had so many blessings in it.

Thank you to all of my incredible friends, all the amazing people who supported Cherry Runway, and to my family. I'm a very lucky girl!

Atomic HERE we COME! [art shows

I'm getting ready for a SUPER fun weekend with these crazy cats, and a few other wonderful souls. In just under 2 hours, i'll be heading out to Sarasota, Florida for the weekend for The Atomic Bazaar.

Overcommited; BUT happy. :)

Hello beautiful friends!

I've been 'slaving away' making new jewelries, getting ready for Holiday shows, among other {{REALLY COOL}} things i'll blog about later.

In the mean time, i just wanted to  C E L B R A T E  that i finished my WHOLE to do list today!!! And now i get to RELAX some and go hang out with friends, until tomorrow when the CRAZINESS ensues again.

Thus, i had a few moments to take pictures of HOW freaking COOL my hair looks today! 

Now...off to the post office to mail some orders! HOORAY!

On the front page of Etsy just now, i found Oktak; a super cute coin purse and bag shoppe! This one, by far, is my favorite, but she has TONS of options you should see. :)

FEAR in blogging.

Blogging has been uber hard for me, but inspiring as well. After taking Holly's Blogging You Way class, i've gotten a better grasp of the blogging world, but i still deal with the anxiety i've always felt with it. :( 

But tonight, while reading the 'up up creative' blog, [a creative business lady i both admire and feel inspired by] i noticed this little GEM in her bio;

"... a post-partum depression & anxiety survivor. if you found me because of that, definitely read through the archives, reach out and say hi, and more than anything else just hang in there"

...and i suddenly felt less alone in this blogging world, knowing that it's okay that I'm suffering through a lot of things in life, in general, and even MORE...that's it's OKAY that I'm SHARING it with all of you. 

My MAIN goal in my life is to inspire, and i do hope, by sharing my life and my struggles with all of you on this blog, that one day someone will read my blog and think 'hm...i feel less alone in the world too'. 

I hope you've had a BEAUTIFUL thanksgiving week, and i look forward to writing more openly to ya'll soon.

Hooray! NEW card images!

My INCREDIBLE friend Alyssa showed me how to create new product images of my cards and prints and they look SO AMAZING! I'm excited, and i wanted to share them with you! 

Clearly, these are all my holiday cards, but i'm [ s l o w l y ] working on making ALL of my cards look a nice as these!
